Kidderminster Valentines celebrate their Twenty fourth Anniversary in 2012 and now number over seventy voices. The choir have a reputation for their beautiful harmonies which are created by singing in four parts and they never fail to thrill their audiences. The choir is versatile and has a repertoire which can accommodate most musical tastes from Beethoven to Barbershop and Mozart to the Musicals.
The Valentines’ sound is rather different from that of most ladies choirs, their emphasis being on consistently rich, full bodied, mellow four part harmonies produced by voices covering a wide age range.
The choir is immensely proud to have Sir Tim Rice and the broadcaster Peter Tomlinson as patrons of the choir.
